Paa Kofi Osei- Owusu is the founder of CERATH Investments. Paa also heads the business development unit of CERATH. He is responsible for identifying viable business opportunities, and bringing them to the light of day. Paa is a business developer by profession holding a Bachelor’s degree in economics and sociology, and a Masters in Business Administration. Paa possesses project management, communication, public speaking, fund raising and networking skills. He also has almost decade experience in the agricultural sector. These skills set contributed to his success as the Resource and Grants manager (Business Developer), of Conservation Alliance (CA) by increasing annual revenue of CA by 350 percent. Paa is full of innovations, and has been very instrumental in the transfer of many agriculture development technologies from Europe and Asia to Africa. Paa brings his experience in working with donors, investors and other private sector actors to CERATH. This has informed his knowledge and admiration for partnerships. Paa has a broad network of local and international connections, and thus he is sure bet to facilitate, push and launch initiatives.
Lydia Atta-Saow is the executive secretary, imports and exports advisor of CERATH. Lydia is a self-motivated and an ambitious person who has an eye for details. Lydia’s academic background include first degree in publishing studies majoring in editing from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology(K.N.U.S.T) and an MBA(marketing) from Ghana Institute of Public Administration (GIMPA). With my excellent skills in management, problem-solving and communication, this has led to my success as an investment advisor for existing Free Zones Company like Golden Leaves Ghana Limited. As a graduate with four years’ experience as an investment expert, I have attracted more investors into the country in the area of the Ghana Free Zones concept. Based on this, companies such as Usibras Ghana Limited- Brazilian Company, DTRT Apparel Limited- American Company; Eco roofing Company-Korean Company, and Cosmo Seafood’s company limited- Korean company have been attracted to locate their businesses in Ghana.
Emmanuel Owusu-Ankamah [CA, A.CFIA, MBA, and B.com] is the investment and financial advisor for CERATH. He has over 7 years of experience in the practice of Accounting & Finance, Economic and Industry research, Investment Analysis and Financial Modelling, Financial Risk Management as well as Business Partnership. He is a young and dynamic Finance professional who is passionate solving current problems with new thinking. He is pragmatic in his approach and pays a lot of attention to details. Emmanuel brings to the CERATH team experience from SIC Life Savings and Loans where he serves as the Head of Finance and Administration. In this capacity he is responsible for the overall finance and business strategy as well as Financial Risk Management (FRM) of the financial Institution. Prior to Joining Sic Life Savings & Loans, he was The Finance Business Partner (FBP) at Fidelity Bank Ghana limited where he was responsible for supporting the Retail group of the bank in financial strategy formulation and execution as well performance measurement and management. Before his appointment as the Finance Business Partner – Retail Group, He was a Finance and Economic Research Analyst for the same Bank where he supported Executive and Non-Executive Management decisions and plan with Economic analysis, real sector business opportunity and risk analysis as well as Banking Industry intelligence. He also served as a Finance Officer. Prior to Joining Fidelity Bank, He was the portfolio Accountant and an investment analyst for JCS Investments limited (a local fund manager for Goodwell West African Microfinance Fund). In addition to the above he has consulted for many Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in corporate governance and Accounting related issues. Emmanuel is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Institute of chartered Accountants Ghana (ICAG). He is an associate membership with the Chartered Institute of Finance and Investment Analyst -Ghana (CIFIA – GH). Currently he is a CFA Level II candidate seeking to be a CFA charter holder. In addition, to the above professional candidature and memberships has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance from the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) and a Bachelor of Commerce (B.com) degree in Finance and Accounting from the University of Cape Coast (UCC) where he graduated with first class honors.
Cyprian Amankwah is the accountant and tax advisor for CERATH. He earned his Mphil in accounting from university of Ghana business school and bachelor of commerce from university of cape coast. Cyprian’s experience includes being a teaching assistant and later as a principal research assistant at the University of Cape Coast. He lectured financial reporting and taxation to both graduate and undergraduate. He is also a professional oil and gas accountant.
Robert Quartey is the entrepreneurship and business advisor for CERATH Investment. He holds a master’s degree in consultancy and entrepreneurship from Rotterdam Business School. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Land Economy from Kwame Nkrumah’ University of Science and Technology. As an afro- European, Robert brings on board in-depth knowledge on varying business cultures. Robert speaks and writes Dutch. Robert has worked for several institutions including Berenschot, Micheletti & Co. Ltd and GOEK.
