Stakeholders Consultations for Reviving Northern Star Tomato Company

THUCER AGRO & CERATH Investments have commenced series of activities aimed at acquiring 70% stakes of the Northern Star Tomato Company (NSTC). The Government of Ghana (GoG) is seeking to partner the private sector in reviving NSTC.

Some stakeholder consultations include meetings with the following institutions

• The Ministry of Trade and Industry
• Ghana Exports Promotion Authority
• Savanna Accelerated Development Authority
• The Ghana Free Zones Board

Additionally, there have been series of meetings with local farming communities aimed at understanding the dynamics of production, to inform in planning towards factory revival.
